RE: Change telnet to another port?

It is easy to change the telnet client to use a different port but I have
tried changing the telnet server to no avail.  Hopefully some one on this
list knows how to change the telnet server on the as400.

For client access under communications, which is where you set the system
name or IP there is the port number.  Changing it and then saving the
session definition should get the client to use a different port, but then
that doesn't work unless you change your telnet server to match.

Can I change the configuration on my 170 to "listen" and use another
port for telnet, ie., can I still access my AS400 using client access,
which uses port 23 by default?
Most all 5250 clients (based on my limited knowledge) use port 23 to
"telnet" into the AS400...
How do I change the AS400 configuration and the Client Access
configuration to use another port?
Any suggestions on which port to use?
