Not sure if this is it, but is you 400 setup in your LMHOSTS file on the PC?
It is in the Windows directory. if you don't have one rename LMHOSTS.SAM to
LMHOSTS
Then add a line with the following format.

TCP/IP-address AS/400-dns name

I am also having the same problem. Once I map a network drive to the AS400,
I can see all in network neighborhood. Why I do not know. I figured it is
a bug with the latest release of CA. Our 400 is V4R3, V3R2 of CA with the
latest service pack and both the AS400 and PCs matching. Go figure.

Subject: Access to IFS with network neighborhood

Hello all,

My AS/400 is at version 4.4. Client access v3r2. Win95.

Up to last week, I was able to access files in the IFS with explorer or
network neighborhood. Now I only see the printers of the AS/400!!

If I try to access the IFS with operation navigator, I get an error during
the "files directoy extraction" (the wording may not be exact since my
system is in french).

Any suggestion as to why I can not see the IFS anymore?
