I have a big problem with Net.Commerce on AS/400 (V4R4). All is installed,
all
is configured, but when I try to connect to .../ncadmin/, it does not work.
The
web server ended with error:

Peter,

What you need to do is start the webserver (I am assuming Websphere) with
the "-vv" option to start logging on the web server. This will give you
more information. You may be getting the error 500.

My guess is the Websphere server was upgraded from 1.1 to 2.02 (that this
happens is buried in the PTF doco real deep) by the cume and group PTF to
the newer level In the new version, the JVM.PROPERTIES file is no longer
used, the file is now called BOOTSTRAP.PROPERTIES. Check out the following
APAR II12011. It describes how to check to see if this is the problem and
how it can be fixed.

If you have a support line contract call it in. If not check out the
net.commerce web site www.suckfree.com (yes that is the name)

The IBM sites are not worth much in the way of help unfortunately

Take heart, your not alone. There are a number of us floating out here in
the Net.Commerce support vacuum. I do have it up and running, but not
without some real blood, sweat, and tears.
