I have used NJE on the mainframe and MVS/Bridge on the 400 to move spoolfiles and flat files between 400s and Mainframes for years. It works seamlessly once set up. On the 400 set up the controller as type of *HOST and the DEVD as *SNUF. The distribution type is *RPDS. To send a file to the mainframe use the standard SNDNETF command and SNDNETSPLF to send spoolfiles. If you need details on set up email me directly. I'm attempting to transfer a file to a mainframe. They orignally said they could only take the file from an AS/400 using Connect:Direct (which we don't have). Now they say they can take it from us using NJE, if we have it. Can anyone tell me how to verify if I have this option and has anyone had any experience using this? We're on v4r3.
