This is a good example of someone -- unfortunately -- not properly testing
technology before implementing it. What SOUNDS good may not always WORK

Last company I heard of who did this abandoned the project after spending

to $400K - part of the reason was that the greasy fingers of the plant
workers
often slipped on the screen (thus selecting things they didn't want) - this
frustrated the workers who then pounded on the screen thus screwing up the
touch
sensitivity.  Of course you may be in a nice clean plant......
