You had a S30, which presumably you bought to facilitate a certain number of interactive users and transaction throughput. Then you bought another company with a bunch of interactive users. Then you brought the new users on line before knowing the affect on your machine. Then it didn't work because you hadn't paid enough for the CPU required to run the machine with the new users. Then you got pissed off because IBM charged you to upgrade to a machine that would do the job. Definately sounds like your company's IT strategy is closely connected to your company's business plan to me. J.D.Edwards sounds like my kind of firm...any jobs going. I too know how to fuck up royally and blame it on someone else. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
