Damn that humor. </SARCASM> -----Original Message----- From: L. S. Russell [mailto:leslier@datrek.com] Sent: January 10, 2000 1:02 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: Re: Have you read this? Yeah, I guess you are right, this is coming from the magazine that in the April 1999 issue, on page 118 under the heading Infectious AS/400 Networks, suggested that the only way to cure your 400 of a phony virus called NOMAD was to DELETE ALL PROGRAMS, REFORMAT YOUR DISKS, AND RELOAD EVERYTHING! On the same page under Too Much Windows 98 they suggested that the correct way to uninstall Win98 was to issue the command c:\format! Now I realize these were jokes, but they gave very little indication of that fact, the one and only hint being on the second page of the table of contents an icon which says April Fools Fun! Hmmm fools, News 400 ???? This among other reasons is why I discontinued my subscription. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
