Chapin: I never mind anyone offering me help of any kind - thanks. Generally, I can use any and all help available ;-) Debbie --------------- Original --------------- Date: Fri, 7 Jan 2000 21:54:21 EST From: Kaynor@aol.com Subject: RE: time stamp of source member Debbie, I hope you don't mind someone else jumping in. You probably know this, but I've found some experienced people who don't: If you prompt an AS/400 command and then press <HELP> (usually <F1>) on the command name at the top of screen, you will see not only the keyword help, but generic help about the command. This includes the possible messages to monitor for in CLPs--information that can be very useful. Sorry if you already know this. It is how I learn things about complex commands like DSPFD. - --Chapin Kaynor Kaynor@aol.com ------------------------------------- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
