I'm having the same problem as you are, Janet. Question: is this a 'new'
connection thta you're trying to define, or are you trying to use a
pre-existing connection? I set up 3 PCs about a month ago, all of which
are able to browse the QDLS, via a mapped drived J:, with no problem. My
problem is in trying to set up the J: drive on a new PC. When I do so, I
get the exact same message that you're getting.

Subject: Access to QDLS folder.

When I try to access the QDLS folder from Windows Explorer
or Network Neighborhood, I receive the following message:
"\\OUR_SYS\QDLS is not accessible. Access is denied." Is
this an authorization problem? What AS/400 object do I
grant authority to since this is an IFS folder? What
profile should I authorize - my personal user profile or
QUSER?

Any suggestions are appreciated.
