My "real projects" include all the software upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery for our clients. I think I'm busy enough. I came into this job without knowing what an AS/400 is and within weeks was asked to take this position. I "unknowingly" said yes, but thoroughly enjoy it. Just a lot of learning, but at least I never get bored! And yes....customer still equates the phrase "IBM CE" with a 4 letter word. ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: Re: automatically downloaded PTFs Author: <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> Date: 1/4/00 2:10 PM Are those people still stewing because of the bad CE experience they've had? Tell them to give you some real projects. mreinkemeyer@mbsbooks.com on 01/04/2000 01:23:41 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet cc: Fax to: Subject: automatically downloaded PTFs I have been asked to find out how to turn off the feature that allows PTFs to automatically be downloaded into the AS/400 from IBM. Any help would be greatly appreciated! BTW....we haven't had too much trouble from Y2k....hope the rest of you are as lucky...most of our problems were due to people powering down for the first time (don't ask me why they haven't done so before).
