aw, it's not that bad.  i had to do it several years ago, and since we
do contract programming, i didn't get paid for it either.  oh yes i did,
$12 dollars a day!

i was hoping to get out, but they don't do that in the county i live
in.  you can postpone it, but not cancel it unless you're not of sound
mind, etc.  when it was over, i found that it was really an interesting
experience.  

and btw, the selection was by driver's license records, not voter
registrations.
