Depending on how you promote changes to your production environment, you might well have a problem if you just arbitrarily clear this library. As I understand this, and I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, this library contains program objects that were in use at the time they were recompiled. The compiler creates a duplicate object or moves the original object and renames it. If you look at the call stack of a job that was using a program when it was recompiled, you will see the new QRPLOBJ in the stack. If this is deleted from the library, the job with this in the stack may receive a message indicating an attempt to reference a destroyed object. Am clearing this library very frequently from QSECOFR profile, when ever I get the message from the users regarding the insufficient disk space. Is it just for having the secondary object of all the users when ever they are compiling/creating the objects? I want to know will there be any problem, if I run a schedule job twice in a day clearing the contents of this library..
