yes, try IPLing from A.  You can select which type of
IPL to do from the buttons on the control panel.

A = With no Temporary applied PTFs
B = With Temporary applied PTFs
D = From secondary IPL device (tape drive usually)

If you have applied any PTFs recently, it is probably a
defective PTF that is hanging your machine.  IPLing it
from A should get around this so you can then un apply
it and reipl from B.
