I just went through this.  The steps to get back to a "normal" IPL using the Ops
Console are:

   IPL to DST.
   Sign on.
   Take option 5 Work with DST environment.
   Take option 2 System Devices
   Take option 6 Select Console Mode
   Take option 2 for Operations console.
   F3
   Take option 7 Start a Service Tool
   Take option 7 System Power Down
   F10 to confirm
   Wait for power light to turn off
   Set IPL mode to "B" normal
   IPL

This will bring the AS/400 up looking for the Ops Console.
Make sure the PC is "awaiting connection".

The options might vary slightly but you should see similar options.
