Just today I received the Mentioned Group PTF's and I had installed these in
a restricted mode and then did IPL.

Even now am not able to connect to the WebSphere Server i.e. 9090 port, it
gives me the following page display

*       Click the javascript:location.reload()

button, or try again later.
*       If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it
is spelled correctly.
*       To check your connection settings, click the Tools menu, and then
click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click Settings. The settings
should match those provided by your local area network (LAN) administrator
or Internet service provider (ISP). 
*       If your Network Administrator has enabled it, Microsoft Windows can
examine your network and automatically discover network connection settings.
If you would like Windows to try and discover them, 
click javascript:doNetDetect() <javascript:doNetDetect()> Detect Network
Settings <javascript:doNetDetect()>  
*       Some sites require 128-bit connection security. Click the Help menu
and then click About Internet Explorer to determine what strength security
you have installed. 
*       If you are trying to reach a secure site, make sure your Security
settings can support it. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet
Options. On the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section and check
settings for SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, PCT 1.0. 
*       Click the javascript:history.back(1) <javascript:history.back(1)>
Back <javascript:history.back(1)>  button to try another link. 
Cannot find server or DNS Error

Am not getting where am doing wrong..Still am I missing something.

Please can I get somemore detail help on this.

        Hi at V440 the webserver always sits in CNDW as the initial job. If
you look
        under your LICPGM do you see 5769AS1 as being installed, this is
where
        Websphere now exists under V440. You should also get and apply
SF99027
        (Websphere group PTF this will take you up to V2.02 Standard) this
will also
        give you the Java and Database fixes. Also get SF99026 for the
webserver.

        You should then also check your config for your instance there are
changes
        you need to make between V440 and V430 see
        http://www.as400.ibm.com/websphere for information on this.
