I've had the same results after upgrading my Model 150 to V4R4, except I've been dealing with this since mid-July -- 4 months!! > We have worked with IBM on this, and they have a problem log identical to ours > which was closed because the customer got fed up with wasting so much time on it > and (as we have had to do to use the machine at all) went back to the old style > console. I was working with the support staff of the business partner who sold me the AS/400 and V4R4 upgrade on this problem. After spending 10 minutes trying to convince the clueless tech that is WAS possible to have a PC console and that it worked fine for me under V4R1, hi quickly conferenced in IBM. I emailed them some log files, and after nearly a two week wait, the business partner contacted me and told me that I would have to do a scratch install of Windows 95 on the PC before they would work with me any further. I explained that I had already tried Operations Console with a Win95 and Win98 PC with the same results as you described in your previous message. As a result, I gave up on support and have been experimenting with this on my own as time allows. Fortunately, this is a development machine because I've been gambling without a console for 4 months. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
