An existing VB application accessing data on SQL server is to be modified to get some of the data from the AS/400 directly. (Currently the AS/400 data is downloaded to SQL overnight. This is what we want to eliminate.) Can I just create a Client Access ODBC link from the server to the AS/400 and get to the data directly? What changes must be made in the VB app? Are there any special considerations regarding as/400 user ids and passwords that need to be enabled in the VB app? About half of the users are on Rumba and want to stay that way. Are there any considerations for this group? Can Rumba make use of the ODBC connection created thru Client Access? Please point me to any magazines or websites that address this area. I have visited Rumba and the Redbooks sites and come away less informed. Thanks Wayne -- ______________________________________ Wayne W.
