One other thing, are there any downsides to always use SENDPA? I have a simple command line interface to FTP to send save files (and other files). Does SENDPA cause slower transmissions? My guess is the creation of the data path from the client to the server is blocked through a firewall or you have some sort of port restriction in place. Try issuing a SENDPA on your AS/400 client before doing your PUT and see if that works. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
