I have it working on Windows 98 and Windows 98 second edition. I did receive the prompt to the resource you stated below before and after it started working. I did have to stop and restart NetServer after I made the QMAXSIGN change. BTW, I also applied all the PTF's for my OS/400 version that was on the web site http://www.as400.ibm.com/netserver/infoapar.htm before I found out about the QMAXSIGN problem. I'm on Windows 98 and when the password is not the same, I get prompted as described above but it won't take the valid password once entered.
