Can you FTP from Tape ??     (Maybe do an OVRxxx before you do the FTP)

No ?  What kinda command is that?

 client sent us a Unix tape on a 1/4 cartridge(DC 6525, 525 MB, 1020 feet).

The only environment on which we have 1/4 device is on our as/400.

We need tha data( A .TAR file) on that cartridge.
Is there a way using a Tape file to do this???
