yes, in our new Release of MIMIX V4R1 and if using OS/400 V4R3 or later....the MIMIX Object Replicator sees the file deletes and new file creations (or renames) and automatically enrolls them in the replication process (ie starts journalling, etc). We also have a PTF available for V3R2 MIMIX but would recommend the new release.
