This surprises me. I see bulletin board sessions, talk, and chat sessions going on with users from all over the world clicking away with key-at-a-time programs over the internet and their response times are usually instantaneous. I realize that the echo from the keyboard to my screen is through the CPU, and it is also instantaneous. I'm thinking that an AS/400 must be doing those sorts of speeds now too. I can see that a slightly larger model AS/400 might be needed, but hey, thats the new paradigm.
