I have a C/L program on the AS/400 which I use to cancel jobs which have a lock on a particular object. The C/L program uses the WRKOBJLCK (specifying *PRINT for output), then copies the spool file to a physical file, then reads through the file to find and cancel the jobs. The program works fine when I call it or submit it. When I try execute the program using the FTP RCMD command from my PC the spool file gets created with a job name of QPRTJOB and the user ID that I used in FTP. The FTP server job can't find the spool file and the program fails. I get this message: File QPDSPOLK not found in job 307802/QTCP/QTFTP00299. Does anyone know of a fix or a work around for this?
