For the printer.. select HP(generic) 3. For the emulation .. select 3812-SCS 4. Save config 5. Let the 400 auto config(should come up as 5219) 6. Make sure the device(printer) is varied on and print writer is started.. To take the 400 out of the loop, config a "local" printer on the 3487 and see if you can at least print using print key.... This is a discontinued printer on the HP web page so I couldn't find out much about it... Color Inkjet printer ??? One last thing... Can this printer emulate older HP printers and if so, which ones ?????? +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
