I realize that, but part of the point was one needs to do the math in

data moved to the historical data ASP.

OK, that explains where you got the 40%.  <g>

That would be much different than reducing the base ASP under 10%.

Moving fully half the data out of the ASP when it is used by < 5% of
the people at a time does change the perspective.  As drives have
become larger, it seems people tend to forget about arm count and only
consider storage capacity.  I think you need to consider both.

Oops.  I guess it was too late to catch that.  At least the math
ratios turned out the same. <g>
