I asked the folks at their booth about this at the Spring COMMON, and I was told they would have someone fix it. Haven't seen any change though. (I showed them what happened when doing a search on my name!) Haven't followed up with them either, so maybe they just need to be reminded... It's not worthless, it *will* turn up valid stuff too. I'd like to see it tuned up a bit though. -Ilena Ayala At 07:32 AM 10/9/99 -0500, our fearless moderator wrote: >Has anyone noticed how search400.com's search engine tends to return >invalid results 100% of the time? > >I just did a search on the word "gobbledegook" ... expecting it to return 0 >hits. > >I got 901 hits! +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
