Does fastfax also support the IBM modem option that Facsimile Support/400 does?

You might want to consider looking at Quadrant Software's FastFax product.
It works on top of Facsimile/400 and makes it easier to use. It works very
similar to the Biscom/EDS solution but much better. I have gone through the
process of replacing a Biscom/EDS system with FastFax. The FastFax system
also utilizes a FAXHEADER record with the codes for faxing and you just put
the spool file into a certain outq and away it goes. Essentially all you
have to do to convert is change the fax codes and the outq that you override
to. Also, the FastFax product will work with either the Integrated Fax
Adapter or with an external PC or both. This can be important if you start
using the Integrated Fax Adapter and want to add lines and don't have any
open slots in the 400. If you have any other questions feel free to e-mail
me privately.
