I wouldn't be suprised. If you are interested I would check into the Insider Weekly put out by The 400 Group (I don't work for them but I do subscribe). Essentially, there are not a lot of nice things said about Stephenson (and very interesting quotes by David Andrews) with regards to the AS/400. Unfortunatley, I will not be at COMMON. I should be attending in the sprint at San Diego (wife permitting). Have fun! Al? For those that don't know Stephenson was the head of the server group of which the AS/400 and Tom Jarosh report to. Sam Palmisano has recently been in charge of the Global Services division. A couple of comments made by industry magazines and analysts makes me believe that this could be an extremely good move for the AS/400 and I don't think I will miss Bob Stephenson..... It's interesting to note that the AS/400 specific advertising starts up right after this announcement last week....... +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: email@example.com +---
