Job logs are controlled in a number of different ways, while job accounting is a function that is controlled at the system values level. Job logs are often very long and very difficult to read.. They can tell you quite a bit but you really have to have more knowledge of the system to use them in a effective manner. I think the job accounting function is really what you need. Job logs might help, but this requires a different approach and again you might get lost in the amount of details.. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
