John,

  One of our customers upgraded to V4R4 with 64MB on a M500 (we told them but
they wouldn't listen).  BIG MISTEAK!  Performance was acceptable on V4R1 w/64MB
but completely trashed with V4R4. The machine pool owned almost all the memory
and the disks were lookin' for a back door outa' the machine.  We recommended an
upgrade to 256MB.
