Raj,

The first parameter to QCMDEXC is the _variable_ containing the command string.
When you ran WRKSPLF, you used a variable with the string 'WRKSPLF' in it, using
a constant of course. Now, you're looking a concatenating a constant, then a
variable, then another constant to form the command string. I.e.,

     C                   Eval      Command = 'DSPFD FILE(' +
     C                                       FileName + ')'

Folks,
                   I am trying to run CL command ( example WRKSPLF) in RPG
using  QCMDEXC.   It works  great.

But, suppose if I want to run

DSPFD FILE(................), on the File parameter, is there anyway I can
use  the program variable?.

Because my program reads a physical file which contains all the Logical
file objects and its description.

Any help/suggestion is greatly  apprciated.

Thanks

Regards
Raj
