yeah, we know that.  we may not like it, but it's a fact of life when
you have a package.  i recall a thread several months ago about this
topic, and several folks that supported packages said they envied places
where they could code however they wanted without concern for
compatability.

i think that's correct!  we compile everything at v3r2, and haven't had
any problems going from v4r2, to everything from v3r7 to v4r3.

been there..  for us it takes 8 hours, so we restore and save it using
our old d20, over the weekend so it's not such a problem at the client's
site.


it seems a week or so ago, someone was concerned about going to v4r4,and
said there were some problems saving to v3r2.  

i'd like to upgrade, but not at the expense of supporting our clients!
