Eric, If I'm not mistaken, the 170's have a minimum release level. I think our 170 requires V4R3 as its minimum release level. I want to duplicate my production machine (620 running 4R1) on the 170. The 170 has 4R3. They have different tape drives. What is the best way to go about this. The data on the 170 is unimportant and can be discarded. I have attempted to replace the O/S by IPLing onto the D side but I receive an internal licensing SRC error. I only have the CD-ROM to work with. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.
