We are fighting tooth and Nail.  Which is why I am in the dark ages, V3R7 on
two RISC boxes and V3R2 on a CICS box.  Management sees no reason to upgrade
the OS until the hardware is upgraded and IBM ships the new OS with the New
HDW.  I see the benefits from an application developer point of view but
have not been able to justify from a business point of view.  Especially
since we are only now beginning to use the ILE environment.

We are about to replace the CICS box and upgrade from a 510 to a 720 on one
of the RISC boxes which should bring us to V4R4.  Hopefully they will
upgrade the OS on the other RISC box, (a 400/2131.)
