V4R4 Upgrade Problem/Question -- MIDRANGE-L

This is a *COMMON* problem in CISC to RISC. A real fast solution? Put
the console in debug mode. Change system value QIPLTYPE to a '2', then
IPL.

As for the solution that you came up with, yup, much better, but when
did the support line call go in? On a weekend?
