Yes and no. You get one copy of CA with the ops nav cd. We use this copy to use ODBC for Excel/400 data access only. We use Mochasoft for emulation and FTP for data transfer. So yeah you can have ODBC without purchasing CA but you need CA to use ODBC. Kind of make sense? -----Original Message----- From: Kevin Watkins <kevinw@hurtcompanies.com> To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> Date: Tuesday, September 07, 1999 4:19 PM Subject: OBDC w/o Client Access? >Can you have OBDC without Client Access? > >Kevin Watkins >Sun Ergoline >kevinw@sunergoline.com > >+--- >| This is the Midrange System Mailing List! >| To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. >| To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. >| To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. >| Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com >+--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
