The local news this morning did a little piece on this as well.  They were
talking to one of the local power companies and they said that they had
"tricked" their computer system to think there was no such date as 9/9/99 so
that problems wouldn't occur, or something like that.

I just giggled, spewing a little bit of shredded wheat onto the couch.  Then
I came to work.  I'll clean it up later.
