Are you sure the ALCOBJ worked? Try doing a WRKOBJLCK FILENAME *FILE. This
will show you what lock state you actually have on the file, and what locks
any other jobs have. You might also check that you do not have the file
allocated but open. Do a DSPJOB and take option 14. If your file is in the
list of open files you will not be able to clear it.

Hi there,
I'm having some problem executing a CLRPFM .
I've obtained a EXCLUSIVE lock on the File Object, that I wanted to clear.
I used the following command to do that , and this command executed
successfully.
ALCOBJ OBJ((FILENAME *FILE *EXCL)) WAIT(600)
After this I did a CLRPFM which gives me an error saying "Member FILENAME
already in use"
