I kind of like it.  I've made a lot of money on these things.  A,T&T sends
me $50 and takes my service, MCI shows up next months and I get air miles,
Sprint shows up with some cash next and on it goes.  I don't make enough
calls for all the stuff I get.  I don't think that I would do it with my
Internet service being that there are enough companies making the rounds.

AT&T has been doing that very thing here in California for over a year.
They will send you a real check in the amount of $50.00.  If you endorse the
check and cash it, you have authorized them to take over your local long
distance calls from Pacific Bell!!!  I have seen three of these in the last
year!!!

What a rotten way to do biz!
