Steps to create new physical

1.) remove all logicals

2.) copy and rename physical

3.) create new physical

4.) run program to read from old physical and write to new physical

4a.) Rename input files which are not the same size

4b.) move the numeric 1 position field to the new file. 4 positions

4c:) move the 1 position alpha field to the new file. 4 positions
I suggest checking to make sure all records have 0 through 9 in the
alpha field

5.) Rebuild your logicals

6.) re-compile any programs that use the physical or the logicals.
