Good morning, I have an officevision document that retrieves data from a physical file. In that file there is a numeric field with a length of 8, whom content represents a date in format YYYYMMDD. Does anyone know how to represent this number as a date in the document (with separators)? i.e.: YYYY-MM-DD or YYYY/MM/DD. If I edit the field as a date, the two first numbers are truncated. Thank you very much. ---------------------------------- Mª Elena Vázquez mailto:maena@correo.com ---------------------------------- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
