Hi Dave,

Some reference says that if you deduct the years by 28, or 56 (2x28), 
you can get the exact day of week and number of days in that year.

This method is recommended to electronic devices, which is not Y2K
complaint, such as VCR recorder for security purposes, etc.

But you have to do a lot of changes (cosmetics) to display/reports of 
your systems (from year to year+28).
