We have a batch browser product that would allow you to do things like automate entering purchase orders on remote web sites. We don't currently market this product to the general AS/400 public but we have a number of 3rd party software vendors that are embedding it in their products, especially to allow shipment tracking. If this is a here and now issue contact me directly and I may be able to help. > -----Original Message----- > From: Chuck Lewis [SMTP:CLEWIS@iquest.net] > Sent: Friday, August 06, 1999 8:28 AM > To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com > Subject: Re: EDI vs E-Commerce Question - Pardon my ignorance... > > Jim, > > As I just noted to Carl, my concern was in being pushed by our > suppliers to enter > P.O.s via a browser on their site, thus loosing ALL of the control and > tracking > that happens automatically now (our PO app faxes the PO to them...). > > joberhol@compures.com wrote: > > <The AS/400 is a great e-commerce machine, but given your > background...> > > Oh I am fairly CLUE LESS about other midrange systems other than the > AS/400.
