First, create a separate source file such as FTPSRC for holding the FTP commands you want to run. Obviously this could be any source file, but making a separate one keeps things organized. Next, create a member in the FTPSRC source using SEU that contains the FTP commands you wish to execute. Note that the profile name and passwords are not encrypted, so you should secure the source file. For example if you wanted to FTP a file from an AS/400 library to a PC directory: profile password cd pcdirectory lcd AS400Lib put Filename quit Finally, in your CL Program: OVRDBF FILE(INPUT) TOFILE(FTPSRC) MBR("ftpsrcmbr") FTP RMTSYS("system") DLTOVR FILE(INPUT) That should do it. > -----Original Message----- > From: Gokhan Yildirim (Garanti Teknoloji) > [mailto:GokhanY@garanti.com.tr] > Sent: Thursday, August 05, 1999 10:30 AM > To: 'MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com' > Subject: STRTCPFTP Command > Importance: High > > > Hello everyone, > I would like to ask about STRTCPFTP command...
