Serial Printer on ethernet -- MIDRANGE-L

Hi All-
Our connection guy asked me to put this out on the list.  I work for a
hospital and we are getting a new embossed card printer.  It will be be
treated as a printer and will be serial connected, instead of parallel.   He
asked me to ask if anyone had any experience or problems with connecting a
serial printer with 10 Base T ethernet to a serial converter, such as a HP
JetDirect?  We are using TCP/IP on the AS400.

If I am not providing enough information, let me know.
