QACSOTP is an APPC signon program for CA/400.
It is normally run in a prestart job, so job user profile will be QUSER. It will
switch internally to whatever user profile was signed-on, but journal record
will report job name with QUSER.
Basically all this means, that smbd signed-on with correct user profile and
password and changed the password during sign-on sequence - which may happen if
password has expired and sign-on program prompted user for a new password.

Subject: QACSOTP

We've a user report a strange password incident. His password was
changed sometime in the morning before he arrived at work. Reviewing
the audit journal revealed the changing user to be QUSER and the
changing program to be QSYS/QACSOTP. Anyone familiar with this
program or this type of situation?
