I am using the standard job scheduler that comes with OS/400, (WRKJOBSCDE). I
see no direct hooks into paging from this. I am aware that there is an
additional IBM supplied job scheduler, but we've not evaluated it. We are
using a third party product for paging - Page Alert, (now by LXI corp).

We are also paging by another method. Our paging company supports email.
Assuming that my pager phone # was 219-555-1212, then I would send an email to
2195551212@epage.arch.com and the message would appear on my pager. For
further info check out www.arch.com. As many people know, sending email
directly from the 400 is no big deal.

Does Job Schedular require a third party paging software for the paging option
and if so can anyone reccommend one.

TIA..........Steve
