I forgot... one "possible" solution... Modify the app that you want to 
monitor to update a "list" of current users in a "active" user file...

Now... how you keep two or more users from sending everybody else a
"different" message at the same time is a different matter. Maybe a
dataq with first in -- first out type of deal...
