The CPP is QLIDLOBJ I've used it for years with my DLTOBJ command. The first
parameter is a 20-position character field that must contain the file and
library name (10 positions each). The second parameter is the object type
without the leading asterisk. So *PGM needs to be PGM.

I think under security level 40 and higher, this interface is lost.

I never quit understood why IBM never gave use this command. I suppose it
was a security thing. You can revoke a programmer's object authority to the
DLTF command, while giving a them authority to the DLTPGM command.
