Howard,

Make sure you have the latest service pack installed. If you do, try deleting
the hosts file and recreating it from the sample and adding your entries in the
new one. This has worked for me.

Thanks,

Hi folks,

We have a situation where one of our clients was running CA under Win95
just fine but her machine was retired and a new one with WIN98 was
installed. Now we can verify the connection and in fact connect to the
AS400 but as soon as we try to configure a session, we get a (lightning
bolt) 697 {or some such number}.

Additionally, the version of CA on the 400 is for WIN95 or NT.

My questions:

Is there anyone running CA under WIN98 with V4R2M0 on the 400?
Did you need to load any specific PTF's?
Any not so obvious gotchas involved?
